I got pulled over going 84 in a 55. He gave me reckless and it was in a highway safety corridor. Yea, I know it's bad.
I was going to have my lawyer represent me because the ticket is so bad. However, after taking the car to a shop to get it checked (because I didn't think i was going that fast) I found out some sensor for my speedometer was bad and needed to be replaced. So, I'm thinking I can go in with the work order from the shop and they might allow it to be defective equipment or at least reduce it due to defective equipment. My thoughts are that I won't need my lawyer now (which will save me a ton of money). Do you think I will be okay without her in these circumstances?
