Should I get a HTC HD2 Android or Nexus One?

I'm conflicted between either getting the HTC HD2 with (rooted) android or the Nexus One. Both can get Gingerbread 2.3.4. I like the HTC HD2 more because of the screensize and hardware design but I'm worried about the stability and long running support of Android on HTC HD2, for about 2 years. Can anyone help me make a choice by shedding some knowledge on this subject? Thank You.
 
Why not the new Google phone, the Samsung Nexus S? It has a 4" screen, great hardware design, and it will always receive the latest Android updates first, as it is the new Google phone.
