Both of these are wonderful bikes for the purpose for which they are designed. So it all depends on how you plan to ride the bike. Are you into cruising/touring, or do you want a single-purpose sport bike?

A BLACK Ducati? That seems like a sacrilege to me. A Ducati has to be red, like a Ferrari. 8^) (But it's your choice of course).
 
im looking to buy a motorbike soon, and have got a budget of £20,000 so im looking to buy something pretty sweet...... I dont know if to have a more comfortable harley davidson that is still fast or a racing, state of the art supercool ducati..... If i get a ducati im going to get it in black, but i dont know which to choose lol!!! i have checked out all the models and dealers on the site... and dam all the bikes are good

Buy the one that meets your riding style and needs.

It may also help to decide by which crowd you want to visit with as you a less welcome at a HD ride with a Duc and the same when showing up at the track with an HD cruiser.
 
Only you can decide if you want a cruiser or a sport bike. I mean that's a pretty simple decision. Do you want to carve up the twisties or do you want to kick back and cruise.
