I'm a college student looking to get a new vehicle, preferably a Ford Explorer. The only thing holding me back is the price of gas. I will probably get a 2003 with a V6. Does anyone have one? About how much does it cost to fill up your tank? (I'm aware that it will be somewhat different for everyone, but just an estimate)
Also, if there are any smaller SUV's that would be less than $8,000 that anyone could suggest it would be appreciated. I'm determined to get an SUV, but I just don't want to go completely broke paying for gas and regret buying one. (American vehicles only please)
