That's its main advantage, along with a slightly larger screen, A2DP, and 3G.
The 6290 is out now, it's cheaper, and we don't know how long it'll be, even if the N75 is released NOW, until we're able to get unlocked/unbranded versions (Cingular exclusitivity). Also, the 6290 is slightly smaller, slightly lighter, looks a little better (IMO), and it has FP1.
The N75's keypad is supposedly great but initial reviews of the 6290's have similar praise.
Personally I'm on T-Mobile so that negates US 3G. I'm likely going to end up with a 6290 soon.
