Should I get a 2004 Honda Civic or stick with getting the '96-2000 model?

The car lot where I'm paying for my current car, which is a 1995 Toyota Camry. They set a deal with me after I told them that I wanted the 2 96-2000 model so I can modify my car. It's been about 3 weeks now, and have been having a hard time, the reason why I don't want the 2004 model because I like the 96 model. What do you think?
