I currently have 16" rims. I was planning on getting 18" rims, but my mechanic says if I get them I'll feel every little bump in the road, and that I won't be happy with them. He says not to go bigger than 17", which will give me bigger rims, and enough cushion so that I will still have a comfortable ride. Also, the tires will be cheaper. But with 17" rims, I'm concerned that it won't look much different from what I currently have, which is why I want to get new rims in the first place. My car is a 2002 Mercedes C240 4-door sedan. What do you guys think?
