Should I get 1 12" Kicker L7 or should i stick with my 2 12" MTX Magnums?

I hear a Kicker L7 12" will hit harder than the 2 12" MTX Magnums since my 2 12's are given off 500w each sub and a L7 supposivly gives off 1500w from only one 12"...
