Should I fix my car or buy a new one?

My current vehicle is a 2001 GMC Safari with 102,000 miles on it. The tranny is slipping; the AWD system is busted; the air conditioning system is not working; the locks on the doors stick; it locks itself if I leave it running and walk away (i.e., when it's winter and you want to warm it up); the windshield needs to be replaced -- without fixing the lock situation or the self locking situation, it'll cost me $3000 to fix the tranny; the AWD; the air conditioning & the windshield. BUT a newer car that suits my need (i.e., seats 7 and has AWD or 4x4) will have a payment of about $325 a month, from what I've seen. So, put $3000 into this old car and hold my breathe that it's done breaking down for a while -- or say to heck with it and have a huge montly payment but hopefully a car that runs?

What say you?
