I am a girl, sophomore in high school and I've been thinking about joining the Army eventually. I get all A's and take honors classes and I'm in very good physical condition. My plan as of right now is to join the ROTC in my school during my junior and senior year and go to a regular college like Penn State. There I want to get a degree, join the ROTC, and have a regular college experience that i might not have if I go to West Point. After that I want to join the Army and do something in the law enforcement field there so I can get financial assistance for law school with the hopes of eventually becoming a lawyer. There's a lot more research I need to do but I want some advice from people that actually went through the Army. Is this a good plan and do you recommend joining the Army? Also, any other information or places to research this further would be great.
