Should I do a solo for my Ballet recital?

Ok, so I really love to dance. And I also take jazz classes. I really want to do a solo. But I quit ballet a few years ago, and I just started up. I have gotten better at dancing. But i'm scared i'm not good enough and i'll mess up or make the audience fall asleep. Please tell me what to do!!!
