My math tutor is 26 and in his last year of the Ph.D. program at Duke. I am a freshman there (I'm almost 19), and he has been tutoring me for about 4 months. We get along really well and have hung out a few times, as friends. But, he asked me out the other day. He is a great guy. He is funny, nice, smart, and the conversation flows naturally. But he is 8 years older than me and in a different phase of life. I think I need to have a serious conversation with him about this. He says that the age difference doesn't bother him because he likes who I am now and thinks that as I mature even more I will become an "even better person." Are there any questions that you think I should ask him, and if so, why?
