im choosing my options for college and am torn between art & textiles - im good at both and enjoy them the same amount. I dont know exactly what im going to do yet for a job and i want to keep my options open. Im doing biology, maths and classical civalizations as well so it will end up being quite a mix. any advice?

p.s aparently textiles is very similar to the gcse textiles course I did.

Definitely Art. Although you can use some 'art' techniques in Textiles, you'll be able to use a lot more 'textile' techniques in Art. Art will keep your options much more open, especially if you're planning on continuing on to foundation/degree level. Art is generally a more open subject in terms of using materials as well; one girl has created a dress for her art project, another create three huge cubes of mix and match photographs. Go for Art!

ART because in this class you will sometimes have the opportunity to explore textiles as a medium for artwork.
That way you can get the best of both worlds :)
