I applied for a job a couple months ago and haven't heard anything
back from them (about a job, I've talked to them twice about other
things).
I don't want to seem rude, but I don't know if they lost my application
or what - I handed it in on a really busy day so someone might have just set it aside and forgot about it.
I kind of need to know really soon. Would it seem rude if I called and asked when my interview was going to be because I'm going on vaccation next month and need to work around that week?
