I feel pretty upset that my chance of staying in community college for 4 years are very likely. Currently I got a 2.7 GPA and I need a 3.0 GPA to transfer to a decent school in UC San Diego, Santa Barbara, or Irvine. I complete all my pre requiste by this Fall 2010. However, I screw myself so much that i won't be able to make that 3.0 GPA overall and get a 2.88 GPA. If I got below 3.0 GPA but complete all my pre requiste, can I still make it?
I'm in my third year of community college. Staying another year would be the last choice and dropping off college for trade school and military is not my option. I understand UC's is very tough and chance of me getting in is very low. So I wonder, does prestigious in school really matter? I apply for out of state and Cal state as well through.
