Should i confess my love or stay silent ?

I found myself in a real dilemma. Ive been friends with a girl for about 2 years and we have grown close. Shes amazing. We have many common instrest and shes someone i could see myself with for a long time. The problem is im leaving for boot camp the end or march, which will last up to 6 months and then i will be shipped off somewhere else. also she goes to school 2 hours away from where i live. shes home on vaca now and it has reminded me why i missed her so. I dont know if i should tell her how much i like her and rist altering our friendship, or at least making it awkward, when we have so little time left. Please lend your opition or share a similar scenario to help me figure out what i should do... thank you
