Should I complain? I feel cheated!?

I bought a 2006 Pontiac G6 in Feburary 2009. We were assured that EVERYTHING was checked. I took it to the dealer today to be serviced for oil change and tire rotation. We mentioned that the brakes squeek a little and they called and said the rotars and break pads have to be replaced! $400 for it all!!! That seems crazy to me!!! Does this seem normal? Thanks
 
Well if you bought it from a dealer then yes complain and they being a reputable source will have to warranty it. If you bought it from autotrader or elsewhere youre out of luck. Yes thats absurd but you cant trust everyone
