Okay so I attend and arts school as a full day dance major. I am a freshman, and I absolutely love the dance department! I have progressed soooooo much since the beginning of the year, and I love the friends and teachers I have there. On the other hand I can't stand the academics. They teach very differently than my home school does. I work better doing independent work, and standardized quizes and tests, not artsy projects which is a lot of what we do. I am learning a little, and my grades are mostly A's even though i'm in all honors courses, but i feel like it's not as challenging as it could be,. I'd like to apply half day, but if I don't get in what should I do? I have high hopes for my dance future (open my own dance studio, be on SYTYCD or possibly in a company ) but I want to get into a good college, and become a physical therapist on top of owning my dance studio, which means I have to take the most challenging science and math I can. What should I choose?
Should I choose dance or a higher education?
