Should I call my professor to discuss my grade?
This is my 2nd time taking this class and I am 1/2 of a point to a passing grade. The instructors are gone for the break and I would like to discuss with him my grade.. should I call him at home or email him about the grade and if so what should I say.. i will write a paper, extra credit what ever to get the grade raised

You might have to do more than call....as in...."have relations" if this is your second time taking the class.

I'm assuming you are at a university/college from your wording. And unfortunately, it is very difficult to get a grade changed after it has been submitted. So if you are at the end of a semester/quarter, you are outta luck.

Do not call your professor. They are on vacation. The last thing that they want is to receive a phone call from a student begging to change their grade. They will be less inclined to listen to you if you are annoying them.

If your semester/quarter isn't over yet and you still have time to finish off the course, then contact him the first day that you are back in session.

No, never call your professors, approach him at school in the classroom. Ask to speak to him after class :D Good luck.

Why don't you e-mail? He/she is on vacation, so she might not respond. What happened? How did you do bad the second time? Is this class very hard? Just talk to your professor when she comes back and tell her ," i need to know why I am getting a bad grade so I can improve my self in the next test or essay paper." "can I do extra credit?
