should i buy this 1999 yamaha waverunner jet ski1200? they want$2700 need answer quick?

it is a 1999 yamaha waverunner 1200, with 150 hours on it. is 150 hours alot for a 1999? i dont know how long these motors really lasy, i know it pretty much depends on care maintnance. The guy selling it said i could test drive it and show me that it runs. i just dont want to buy it then take it to the lake and have it breakdown or quit working. let me know what you guys think, thanks
