Should I buy the puffer fish or not?

Out of the three, the second one you mentioned was the healthiest. All puffers are naturally plump, so if he's active with a normal sized and coloured belly, I say get him. He'll only be able to thrive if his tank is fully established anyways. Puffer fish are generally aggressive to those of their own kind, I only recommend getting one and keeping it in at least a 15-20g tank.

If they're not too far away, call them and ask if they do have puffer fish. I think it would be worth it to try and see if you can save one of them, but also worth it if you travel the distance and get a healthy one.

the GSP puffer is a brackfish puffer how can they house it with goldfish? One of those 2 fish are getting hurt in that tank especially since its only 10 gallons. I wouldnt buy from them they dont know stuff about their fish and dont treat them right

The second one sounds healthy so I will probably be ok to get the second one. The puffers are probably sick because they are living in freshwater, they are supposed to be kept in brackish water. Anyway good luck and here is a link on green spot puffers.

My family and I have decided on getting some green spotted puffers. I've been to this pet shop named Sky Pets and it's the only store that has puffer fish and its not too far away. They have 3 green spotted puffers in a 10 gallon bare tank with goldfish. I can't believe they are actually housed with goldfish. One is not as active and the belly isn't as round. The other one is active and has a slightly round belly. The last one is the biggest of them all and it is active and has a very round belly. But the belly is gray and I went on fishlore and it said that the puffers with grey bellies could have parasites. Should I buy the puffer fish or not? I can only go to this store and Petsmart because the other ones are too far away. Are the puffers all ill? They are housed with goldfish in freshwater and its a 10 gallon. They don't even have a thermometer in the tank so I dkn't know what the temperature is. Are these puffers ill? I can't go to any more pet stores because they are all to far away.
