I purchased the Verizon Razr back in Deceraber, and returned it 2 weeks later. Bad phone! There may be changes between the VZW and Cricket Razr phones. Pros: Nice display, very lightweight, great looking phone.
Cons:
1. Poor signal retention. I dropped calls in places I never had a problem before. I assume the lack of an external antenna was a major problem.
2. Poor battery life. The battery in my 2-year old Kyocera lasted longer than the Razr. If you use this phone much, you'll need a spare battery or vehicle charger. It NEVER got through the day on one charge.
3, Speakerphone volume was too low in many locations. Lower than my old Kyocera or present 700w.
4. This was the real killer. The VZW Razr has exterior buttons to adjust the ringer volume, turn ringer off, etc. You must press a button on one side of the case before the ringer up/down/off can be activated. Well, I missed MANY calls on different occasions because the buttons had been triggered while the phone was in my pocket. Once can be a fluke. Several times = bad design. You CAN NOT lock these exterior buttons!
You want a sexy phone and don't care if it works? Buy the Razr.
You want a phone that works? Buy the Kyocera Xcursion.
