Should I buy the iPod Touch 4g? I WILL ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS!!!!?

I've had the iPod touch 2g for about 2 years or so now and recently, my headphone jack stopped working (for all headphones) and I was wondering if I should get the new iPod touch 4g, or wait until the iPod touch 5g possibly comes out....
