By gads, man!!! You pay the help a second penny? O.o Pennies are what keep us above all of the other classes. We don't want the hired help getting above themselves.

You're quite obviously pegged beneath their roughly skinned thumbs. You should march them all down to the penitentiary for a serving of hard labour. Second penny, indeed. Next they'll be marching on our streets demanding outlandish things, like over-time.

Haha I remember you, you always ask questions with a funny outcome or a reason, I think im gonna have to save you in my favourites ...go with buying the bike...your right about the maids they earn way too much :P
 
Do what you like, if you feel that way then give them a pay cut and buy your son a bicycle.
 
Lucky much we dont have a maid. Yea you should totally buy your son a bike. I love them (even tho im not a boy) they are still awesome! and if ur maids aren't working enough, of course u should cut them we cut our cleaner she was crap lol
 
Gadzooks sir! Thy serving wenches are indeed fortunate to have such a generous master as thee. Methinks thou shouldst purchase a tandem for thy son and heir and make thine idle maids pedal young master where'ere he bids them.
 
Ah, what a great country this is, where it's okay to hire people to do things for us and let our kids do without things that bring them joy. You are a credit to your gender, sir. Be proud!
