Should I buy my husband a Chevy 454 SS truck?

Because this is a rare truck, I would guess 5000-6000. I would just buy a short bed with a 350 and use the extra $2500 to fix it up.

A lot will depend on condition.

There is a beat one for sale on the side of the road on my way to work.

It would probably make a good restoration project. I think they want $2,500 for it, but that's the only insight I have on price.

They did a great build-up of one on either "Trucks" or "Two Guys Garage" a few years ago. It would be a great, useful vehicle to have in the driveway.
