Help! I am really getting in to cycling and I have ordered a cyclo cross bike that has dropped handle bars and is capable of mild off road riding (canal tracks etc). However, I already have a hybrid bike that I use for commuting etc and I would love a fast slick pure road bike. I am due to collect my bike tomorrow but I can't decide whether to cancel the order and purchase a good road bike instead! The cost is £699, about $1000+. I am stuck in two minds!! Opinions are appreciated! Oh, I am also considering taking my bike to Barcelona in July to cycle through France and Italy.
