Im after a bike to use for Riding round towns, roads, lanes as well as commuting to work. I would also like to use it for pleasurably cycles and to get a bit fitter on nice days. All cycling will be on tarmac roads. I like the idea of drop handlebars although I have no idea how comfortable they are. I have only ever ridden a mountain bike when I was younger.
Should I buy a road bike or a hybrid bike (MTN bike with road tires, no suspension)? What are your advice and opinions, should I spend the extra money on a road bike?
