Looking at a 2004/05/06 Mazda 3 or a 2007 Nissan Sentra. I like the look of the Sentra better, but I love the automatic/manualish transmission of the Mazda.

I had a friend that had a sentra and I LOVED that car. It was a manual transmission and it was super fast and super fun to drive

both of those are crap...I wanted both and my dad said no. I'm not a little kid but my dad is a car freak,it's his career so I run all the ideas by him first.

Ironically, I just got rid of my Nissan Sentra for a Mazda 3.
Both are good choices, my Sentra lasted me 12 years, and was still running when I sold it. I love my Mazda, but honestly I hardly ever use the manual part of the transmission, I just forget it's there where there's no clutch, so test drive them both, and pick the one that feels right. Either way, you're going to get a good car.

Well Mazda's are sportier cars, and I've seen the Sentra, and it's quite opposite.
But if you get the Sentra, you're buying a newer car, so that's a plus.
It's up to you.
