should i buy a lincoln ls or honda accord? and why?

I am starting to drive and i cant decide which one to buy. i am hearing mixed opinions about the lincoln ls so i am kinda confused. which car would be better for me taking in consideration that i am starting to drive? please tell me info on both cars in regards to gas, reilability, price for fix up parts etc. thank you if i buy the lincoln it would be year 2000-2003 in a v8 or v6 and honda would be 1999-2000
