Should I buy a Jeep Liberty or a Chev Silverado?

I am looking seriously at two specific vehicles. One is a 2006 Jeep Liberty Sport 4x4 with 33,000Km's for $17,750 all in(includes taxes and fees).

The other is a 2003 Chev Silverado 1500 fully loaded ext cab, short box with 74,000Km's for $15,400 all-in.

I suppose I'm just looking for opinions and feedback on which one I should buy. Which do you think is the better deal? thanks
 
I think that you will get a lot more satisfaction out of the Silverado

2003 was a really good year for the Chevy Silverado

2006 was a really bad year for the Jeep Liberty
Lots of repairs and shop time
