Should i buy a Honda VLX or a Kawasaki Vulcan 500?

My niece has the VLX. The only thing I don't care for (besides the pink paint job) is that it's a 4-speed.
 
the honda is a vtwin, the kawi is a parallel twin, a vtwin has nicer style and better low rpm torque. the parellel twin has better midrange power, so it's going to depend on how you plan to ride... if it's mostly around town... go honda, if it's mostly highway, go kawi
