Should I buy a $30 water pump for my '96 Cadillac?

I had an inspection done on my car by a reputable mechanic. Prior to going, I knew I had a leak(the dripping coolant was a clue). He told me that it was coming from the pump. I can't remember what he said. I think he said the seals were broken or something. Anyways, he said I would need a new pump. This inspection was done by a mechanic at the on-base auto hobby shop. They don't sell parts and their labor is priced way below what you would pay at your normal mechanic. He was not the one doing the repair, so he has no incentive to fib to sell his services, so I know that I really do need to install a new pump.

I'm trying to learn to take care of my car myself. I've never done it before. When I asked him how much a pump would cost, he said "I'd guess around a hundred, maybe a little more because its a Cadi." So I went to amazon to price a pump. There were some pumps that were up to $80, but I found this one for $30. I just want to make sure that I'm buying what I will need to stop the coolant leak and that I should be OK with a $30 pump. Note: My Cadillac has 176,000 miles on it. I'm hoping to keep using it until 200k, maybe a little longer. Also, for my engine I need a special tool to get the pump out. I am aware of that and I have added the tool to my cart.

Assuming this is what I need, does this pump have a greater than 50% chance of making it up to and possibly a little over 200k? How long do pumps last?
