Should I buy a 2009 Jeep Liberty or 2003/2004 Lexus GX470?

know a big difference and I am confused right now...the jeep is much reasonable in price with being newer versus a much older Lexus but that has a great reputation, luxurious but yet reliable too. They are both in the same price range but so different in years and class of course. Any suggestions>
 
It's all about what you like better. You really can't compare Lexus to Jeep. Lexus is so much superior to Jeep Liberty I don't even know where to begin - styling, luxury, status, quality, long term reliability, materials, fit and finish, service, etc... Lexus can go 200,000 miles without major issues. If the carfax report is clean and the mechanic checks the car and finds no issues, I'd go with a Lexus.

I would get the Lexus GX most definitely! The Jeep is nice, but the quality and reliability is not that great. The Lexus will last you forever since its is made by Toyota and the reliability is amazing. Also, I personally think the Lexus looks better. Its has a better reputation, it's more luxurious, and it's just an overall better vehicle. With the Lexus, you know you can drive to the beach with it one day, then drive to a luxurious dinner party one night, its very versatile. It all comes down to which one you like best though. The Lexus GX is a better choice. It's more reliable and better quality. Jeep's aren't selling well for a reason, in the long run the Jeep will cost you more money.. the GX does have higher prices on it's parts though.. but it's a Toyota so it'll last.
