I have a chance to buy a 2002 Cougar from a local car dealer. It's 2.5 v6 5 speed with 130k miles. Everything looks great except for a few scrapes on the bumpers. The one corner of the moon roof is popped up a little bit, he said it could be off the track, but it doesn't leak. Everything else looks really nice and drives perfect. He's asking $4,500. He was wanting $5,400 but took $900 off for the moon roof issue.
Do you think this is a good deal because of the miles? He stated on average according to some website that it'll get around 31 mpg since it's manual. What do you think?
