Should I buy a 2000 Suzuki SV650?

Mint Condition, 6,721 Miles. Two Brothers Racing exhaust, clip ons, rear sets, rejetted

I've driven a 49cc scooter for 2 years and want/need to move on up to a bigger bike. I've read all the reviews and know about the quick turning, crappy suspension, and hard seat. But I just need some affirmation to help me pull the trigger.

Should I get it? How much should I pay? What should I check on the bike before I buy? ADVICE?
 
great bike, check for valve noise, they are noted for electrical problems, check and make sure its charging
$2500-$3000 price range
I have seen used 04's and 05's with low miles going for $3500
 
Heck ya I would!

When I was young I used to ride a dirt bike that was 49cc... Hated it after a few months.

I would probably pay less then 3400. Make sure it's clean title, and has no back registration.

Check everything! Look for small scuffs on the side of the bike. That might give you a clue whether or not it has been dropped.
