should I buy 2002 a chrysler PT Cruiser or a 98 Acura CL? I need reliabilty?

essentially Acura = Honda, Honda = extremely reliable, therefore, Acura = extremely reliable

Chrysler = maybe no more company in 5 years :/ and semi-reliable

& Acura = cheaper and 1k to set aside for routine maintenance compared to the PT Cruiser

but bare bones, if you get your routine maintenance, drive it right, and treat it nice, almost any car will last as long as you need it, just make sure b4 you buy a car private party or from a dealership that you have a trusted mechanic thoroughly check it first, don't buy a car otherwise,

IMO, go for a Subaru, I have a 93L with 235k on it, never one problem i didn't cause, (i.e. mobbing around corners and axle boot need a fixin) and an 03 WRX w/85k that i've mobbed and thing still runs great,

but i'd say Acura, nice cars, & good re-sale
 
The Acura is definitely the better car in every aspect except for cargo space...the only issue is the transmission which you should get checked out...other than that, its a great car...cant even compare a PT cruiser to it haha
