Should I bring a pair of glasses to army basic traning?

I wear contacts and I know I cant wear them at basic. Will they issue me a pair or will I be able to wear the ones I bought?

bring yours at first you will wear them during reception. but then the ARMY is going to issue you a pair of glasses. they are called Basic Combat Glasses or (BCG's), better known as Birth Control Glasses. the reason is, if you wear these things to the club there is no way on God's green earth anyone is going to come near you.
