Should I break up with my boyfriend if there is no more intimacy?

I noticed that my boyfriend started pulling away and not being affectionate anymore about two weeks ago. When I asked him if there was anything wrong, he said no. After a couple of more days and still no more kissing, hugging, or "relations," I asked him again and this time we got into a big fight. He said he needed some space. I respected his space and he spent more time with friends, and I planned more activities with my friends. Now that two weeks have gone by, there is still no real intimacy. Just a small kiss here and there, and an I love you every now and then. I know that men go through intimacy cycles where they want to be very intimate, and then later they need their space, and then back again, but how can I tell if he just still needs more time and space, or if he is just not feeling the relationship anymore. Should I break up with him for lack of intimacy? He only likes having "relations" every now and then as it is, and I like it at least once a day, but now that he's taking his space, there are absolutely no relations... I have continued to honor his space, but should I move on, or continue to wait for him to come around.
