Should I bother having my autographed jersey authenticated or just show similar images..

...for comparison on eBay? Should I bother getting a Letter of Authenticity from PSA/DNA or whoever or just list the autographed jersey on eBay along with comparison images from Steiner Sports etc.?

I'm also concerned about mailing the jersey to get certified authentic and never getting it back.
Does anyone have any experience with this subject?
 
A certificate of authenticity is the way to go, well at least to get real value out of it anyways!

Absolutely get it authenticated by psa/dna, it adds credibility to your item if "backed" by a reputable company such as theirs. And use your own pictures. If you're that worried about not getting your jersey back, look on their website, a listing of events they will be at should be on there and you can get it authenticated in person.
