I'm a Junior in high school, and am having a really tough time deciding my future career path. I would love to major in astrophysics, get a PhD, and work as an astronomer, or get a job at NASA. But being a doctor seems like a more stable job, with high pay. I feel like my true passion is physics though. It's always been my dream to figure out how the universe works, and where it came from. My favorite thing to do is read books by Steven Hawking, and watch Youtube videos about space
If I decide on being a physicist, I'd do a double major in Astrophysics and Applied Mathematics
If I decide on being a doctor, I'd major in Biochemistry.
What do you think? All advice is greatly appreciated. By the way, I'm probably going to Virginia Tech.
