these past few days my legs have been so weak that i have had to get the cane out and use it. I would get up off couch and collapse legs were like old noodles. And today they are not so weak but they are some and hurt alot.
I was just wondering cause i have not had this kind of pain since before surgery.

Thanks for any replys!

No, don't worry. Just try to rest a little more. Your legs were probably weak prior to surgery if you were anything like me. Now you feel better and are using the muscles more and it just takes awhile. The whole recovery process is a couple steps forward, and one back...and that includes the use of your legs.

I wouldn't worry. If you continue to lose strength and this continues, then I'd probably call the doctor.

Tanks alot i will be sure to call him if it keeps up i just know they were weak prior due to the broken screws so it scared me to death. Im not doing any walking right now cause all 3 of my kiRAB gone for about a week and i always have my twins with me so im not going alone. SounRAB sad but i know how weak i am.

Thanks again MM

Hi ...How long has it been since your surgery? I am 4 weeks post op and I actually called my Dr today..cause my legs have been so weak...and hips hurting...he said this to shall go away...he told me since I was screwed up for the last 10 months...I coildnt walk straight...put all my weight on my left side..now i'm using my right again and he said it just will take time...we are going to hurt for some time...but its a different kind of hurt...nothing like before...So we just have to take it day by day...and dont do anymore than walk and rest..walk and rest...Pen

This happened to me after my revision surgery last Nov. and it unfortunately has continued since. I strongly recommend that you call your doctor.

By any chance are you taking cyrabalta? A side affect of this med is balance issues.

TMV I am sorry to hear about your leg problems. It seems like there is always something just not right--doesn't it? I think maybe you would feel better if you called the doctor and that is understandable. I know I have been having much more pain in my lower back these past few days and it always makes me wonder if everything is okay but I know it is but might be the high humidity we are having here at home. You need to do what you think is best but like MM said you also need to rest. It does sound like it is better today but you still need to take it easy and careful.:)

Gentle Hugs

It has been 3 and a half months post op. I havent called the dr just yet I am giving it some time cause i think i may have overdone it. I am off of the neurontin but i was on it for like 2 months and i was steadily gaining weight. And i have been trying a little hard i guess to get it off. It hasnt been all that bad since i have chilled out some.

I know i am hurting now cause tropical storm dolly is not close to us but we will get the rains.

Im not taking cyrabalta pepper i am taking celexa.
