Every so often i get a feeling like a really strong butterfly is struggling around in my chest, ive read a few posts about "fluttering" is this my heart beat skipping? Its got more frequently recently, i seem to notice it every evening at the moment, normally if im relaxing or when im in bed.

Sometimes, like tonight, it also feels like ive been punched in the chest, and my neck hurts sometimes, and my heart starts pounding, sometimes fast, but also sometimes really slow but really strong.

I dont dare go to the doctor, as its usually ok during the day and they will find nothing wrong and i will just look silly, but it scares me and i lay worrying about it which obviously makes it worse sometimes, and im scared to go sleep incase i dont wake up.

Am i silly worrying about it? as lots of people seem to have the fluttering and get told its anxiety? Im torn between the fact it could be serious, but not wanting to cause a fuss if its nothing? Does anyone have any advice please?

erm, i usually have a coffee on a morning, maybe 2 if im at home. And usually have one on an afternoon or a tea. I dont really drink coke or energy drinks or anything, mayb the odd one in a month, and ive always drunk about this much though, i havent suddenly started drinking alot more or less. I havent a clue how much caffine that is though :-/
