Should I be concerned if I had a temporary sharp and sudden pain in my lower right rib..

...cage? Yesterday I was sitting down and there was a sudden sharp pain near my lower right rib cage. It only lasted a few seconds and it hasn't come back. Should I be concerned. My lower right rib cage is a little when I press on it. Could it be a strained muscle or a pinched nerve?
In the second to the last sentence I meant to say that my lower right rib cage is a little tender when I press on it.
