I am thinking about adopting a Cavalier King Charles from a local shelter. I honestly don't know a lot about them but I just knew I wanted to rescue a dog from a shelter. Just now I was reading about the health issues (heart and brain from inbreeding) and also about separation anxiety with these dogs. I know every dog has it's share of health problems, but does anyone know if these are serious problems with these dogs? It might not make a difference because someone needs to adopt the dogs that have problems anyway. . it's not like people should just let them die in a shleter because they have problems, but I just wanted to see if anyone knows about them. Thanks!
