I was discharged from basic training in 2004 when I was 19 at the time. Without giving any emberassing details, I was a stupid 19 year old kid that didnt know what the hell I wanted to do with my life. I hated the army and was always expecting a fight with the drill seargents so I asked to leave the army. I pretty much Bull shitted my way out, might've actually made it to where I wouldnt be able to get back in even if I wanted. Not to sure on that one though.
Anyway fast forward to today, 26 years older and wiser and looking back realizing what a dumbass I was at the time. I lost my discharge records to see if I could go back into the army, I tried getting a copy of my DD214 from st. louise but they couldnt find it after a few tries. Then I got with a recruiter he tried to find my records and all he could find was the date I went in and the date I got out, Reenlistment code was ZZ which means jack shit. He was starting the paperwork to get me examined at the meps but Im starting to think theres someplace Im not looking that the recruiter didnt. I just want to know if theres a chance I go back in and my military records pop up and put me in a world of shit?
