should i ask him if we can go for a walk to talk? or is it too soon..?

so last night this guy i know and i were drunk and we hugged for ages and held hands etc but when i suggested he kiss me he said ' i think we should wait'
when i said i couldnt get him out of my head he said that something and also said that he was 'bad news' and that he'd done some bad things.

....it's the next day and we are talking like our usual jokes, should i ask him if we can go for a walk to talk? or is it too soon.
he leaves to go away soon though..
