should hollywood remove any twin towers scenes from its old movies

We should remove all dead people from movies as well as a mark of respect :-p

So because there not there anymore we should remove all references of them, how is that a mark of respect, thats just removing them from history and pretending they were never there. Films/tv shows set before september 2001 should include them and films/tv shows after it shouldn't.

i don't think it matters as long as there is no disrespect in it, like if they had a bomb blowing up the twin towers then that is unacceptible but if they were just there to make the sky line look like how everyone remembers it then there is no problem.

if thats the case we should remove films entirely because at some point or another there is something in a film that some people think dis-respects the memory of something

who would come up with such a lame idea

i agree i think taking them away would be disrespectful.

Obviously the American's don't feel bad about it or this would've been done years ago.

Its different of course if they're making a film about terrorists planes flying into buildings in New York....thats disrespectful.

Home Alone II Lost in New York features a scene with Macauley Culkin on top of the South Tower so that couldn't possibly be cut!

You also see them in 'Working Girl' at the end.

they showed the simpsons episode with the towers on sky one last week...personally i dont see why you would want to remove them. Life goes on and they once stood as a very prominent feature in the Manhattan skyline, why erase any memory of them, surely THATS more disrespectful..

don't be ridiculous.

how is it a mark of respect?

should we remove all references of london from all films as a mark of respect for those killed during the blitzes of WWII?

where would this end?

This was also a stupid thing to say!

The reason we won't forget has absolutely nothing to do whatsoever with watching movies made pre September 2001 that have a scene or scenes with the twin towers in them.

What happened back in Sept 2001 is firmly etched into minRAB & memories of everyone who saw the TV footage that day and is one of those moments in history where everyone can tell you what they were doing on that day.

JFK was killed 10 years before my birth but everyone knows about him and those alive at the time can tell you where they were when they heard the news. The same can be said when Diana was killed.

The reason we will never forget is purely to do with the awful events that took place on September 11th 2001 and not because the towers are in 20th Century movies.

Don't be moronic orignal poster. Respect is not shown by shying away from something and basically wiping it out of exsistance. You should celebrate it within these films, not try to hide it away. THAT would be disrespectful.

perhaps they are rebuilt. :)

Are you an utter cretin??

Respectfull to pretend something was never there??

I hear The Beatles have removed anything by John Lennon from all their music (or whoever know owns it, still Wacko??) as a mark of respect. Try and watch ET now? Can't. They've removed ET after he was killed in a car crash last year. :(
