I'm too chicken to have the "talk" with her. She's in 6th grade and at the end of 5th grade, the class was given a book about puberty & sex. The parents were supposed to talk to the kids about the sex part, but we never did talk together. She got her period at 10, and I've basically only talked to her about periods. I've never actually sat her down & told her about the risks of sex. (Pregnancy, STDs, etc). When should I have that talk? Or should have I already?
Should have I already had the sex talk with my 11 yr old daughter?
