Should GM or Chrysler file for bankruptcy (is it better?)?

Yes and tell obama where he can go! He is trying to "Buy" America for communism with stimulus!

Edit:----Bankruptcy will not put everyone out of work or close down the industry! They would, however be able to unload the oppressive labor contracts that Government has forced them to accept. These Contracts call for wages not in accordance with skill and Benefits that are way over the top, They call for mediocre performance at best from the work force.

With bankruptcy they can get this off their back and once more compete!

It may be, bankruptcy law is complex, and only a competent Bankruptcy attorney can really say.

I think they both should. Any strings attached to money from the government just aren't worth it. Dealing with Obama is like dealing with the Devil..
 
They should be allowed to die. That is the American way, the strong and adaptable survive. The ones that cannot adapt go the way of the Dodo bird, this is as it should be. I promise you some enerprising company will fill the void. Just let it all fall, and then rebuild.
