There is a list of "Famous Australians"on a web-site called Total Educator, and it is a student reference I guess ,but I'm not sure if Captian James Cook and Sir Joseph Banks shoud be on the list.
Pehaps it's ok having Governor Arthur Philip on the list because he was a Governor who lived in the colony, but Cook and Banks ?
Do you agree with me that they are not "Australian" and therefore should'n't be on the list of "Famous Australians"?
It would be like calling Christopher Columbus a famous Cuban or Marco Polo a famous Chinese person.
